LED Dimming and RGB LED with BBC Micro:bit in C++
PWM is used in LED dimming; as the duty cycle of a PWM signal increases, the average voltage and power provided by the PWM increases. The intensity of an LED can be varied by pulse-width modulating the voltage across the LED. Adjustments to the intensity of the LED are made by simply varying the duty cycle of the PWM signal driving the LED.

Getting Started with BBC micro:bit in C++
In this project, I got started with the BBC micro:bit in C++ using the mbed platform.
For the hardware, I made use of the BBC micro:bit, zbit:connector and zbit:toolbelt. The zbit:toolbelt kit contains zbit:toolkit board, spacer board, clip board, xspacer board, zbit:pwr:bars, 40 way connector, M3x8 panel and countersunk head screws, M3 nuts, red, amber and green LEDs as shown in the following figure.

Building the Lie Detector Kit
I built a simple lie detector circuit. The lie detector kit from Maplin demonstrates the basic principles of lie detection: the change in skin resistance in the presence of perspiration.
